The movie “Unraveled” about Marc Dreier the fraudster lawyer had a hilarious scene in it. They had been following him under house arrest in his luxury NY apartment and his lawyers were filmed with him talking over sentencing that it was “white collar crime” and how those sentences are always light and that the Maddoff trial would give a good indication of what may happen. Then on the day of Maddoff’s sentence they were filmed opening the papers and exclaiming “200 Years!!!” (Marc Dreier was descripted by his Judge as “No Bernie Madoff” and will at least get out when he is an old man).
